There are many ways to support the LDFB. Your support will help us continue our mission of utilizing surplus resources to build food security in our community.
How to Donate
The LDFB has a significantly greater buying power than the average individual. The LDFB has partnerships with farmers, grocery stores, and other retailers and are able to purchase at a reduced rate. This gives us the opportunity to provide our clients with nutritional balanced hampers consisting of eggs, dairy, and fresh produce along with all the generous non-perishable donations we receive.
ATB Cares makes it easy for all Albertans to support the causes they care about. Your charity of choice receives 100% of your donation through this site and ATB will match 15% of every dollar donated to Alberta, non-religious charities to an annual limit of $200,000. Visit www.atbcares.com to donate.
In Memoriam/ In Honor Gifts - In Memoriam and In Honor gifts is a way to make tribute to or remember a loved one while
making a difference in your community.
An in Memoriam donation is made to honour the life of a loved one who has passed. We will send a card to the family telling them a donation has been made to LDFB in memory of the deceased family member. This form of donation is also available through Canadahelps.org.
Make a donation to a loved one in Honor of a Birthday, Anniversary, Graduation, Retirement, Christmas or any number of other occasions. We will send a card to the honouree telling them of your gift to the LDFB in their name. This form of donation is also available through CANADAHELPS.ORG .
Leduc Bottle Depot
An account has now been opened at the Leduc Bottle Depot under "Leduc Food Bank".
You can now donate your bottle proceeds to the Leduc & District Food Bank.
Considering the current situation, please note that the supports of the Leduc Food Bank can also "drop off" their bottles and the Leduc Bottle Depot will count them, then forward all the proceeds to the Leduc Food Bank account. This will minimize supporters' exposure and save them time.
100% of all proceeds from the bottles donated will go to the Leduc Food Bank.
Thank you for all of your support and stay safe!
